A lovely two pass shave from the old Wade & Butcher, always a pleasure shaving with something that's over 150 years old.

    Cheers Carl,

I can say without doubt it didin't look anything like that when I recieved it, but that's what she looks like after I restored her.

    Prep - None
    Strop - 2 inch bridle leather/hard felt
Razor - Carl Schlieper "High Class" 6/8
Brush - Simpsons QE II Jubilee Manchurian badger
    Soap - La Toja Stick
Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel

Cold water face lathered shave. Just can't put that brush down and the others are languishing in the shadows, even gave my Vulfix super badger to a friend. Back into the deep freeze this morning for at least 3 days after a short break in the weather. Enjoy the day.
