Good morning y'all. Today I seem to be moving at half speed for no good reason other than it's the middle of the week. What made it better is that I'm shaving with a new (to me) Sheffield razor, a 6/8 Bengall. It's not as burly as some other Sheffield shavers out there, but it is a comfortable razor and shaves perfectly. My infatuation with Sheffield steel is still in bloom.
Prep - hot shower
Soap - Acqua di Parma
Brush - Rudy Vey R7, in boxelder, with Shavemac D01 knot
Razor - Cadman and Sons, Bengall, 6/8
Post - cold water, Kiehl's lotion
EDT - bond no.9, Saks signature
Have a great day y'all!Oscar

Wed, Jan 30
Pre: Hot Shower, 15 Linen, 20 Leather
Razor: Hart 6/8" Square Tip w/Rosewood
Brush: Ever-Ready C-40 Boar
Scuttle: Dirty Bird Brush Scuttle
Soap/Cream: Williams
Post: Cold water and Alum
Aftershave: T&H 1805
My Williams seemed like it was getting lonely in my amoungst the other soaps in my shaving stand so I let it come out and play today. Did my neck as usual. Chin to neck N-S, Neck Base Up S-N. Williams always helps me evaluate a new technique I am trying. Verdict. Stay with this one. It works great, even with the minimal cushion from Williams. I sure love the glide it gives though.
Happy Shaving.Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Hot shower prep
Soap: SuoerMax
Mug: Palm lathered
Brush: Barbershop
Razor: Wilkinson Autostop
Aftershock: none
Splash: Fabergé Aphrodesia for Men
Today: -6ºC overcast and chilling. The Shave: Warm and fulfilling. The blade gets sharper with each stropping and use.
The splash would not be worth the retail but for a pittance I paid, a darn fine scent.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
