Result: This was the maiden voyage for a brush that I made. Very soft tips but has enough backbone which makes it great for soaps! BBS in 3 passes, hope the rest of the day is as smooth as my face!

Good looking brush, love the handle shape. Not a bad choice in a razor either.

    Default Sun - January 27th - February 05th

Good morning y'all. A late start to my morning sort of set the tone for my pace in getting out of the house today. So, since tardiness was in my imminent future, I knew I needed to go with a large-surface area chopper and to make the morning transition go quicker.

    Prep - hot shower
Soap - Body Shop, Maca root shave cream
    Brush - Shavemac 44140, silvertip
Razor - Kenny Powell custom, 8/8
Post - cold water, styptic pencil, Kiehl's lotion
EDT - bond no. 9, Chez Bond

    TUESDAY
    Hot shower prep
    Soap: Barbus “Czech”
    Mug: 70’s Japanese re-pop
    Brush: Barbershop boar bristle
Razor: 8/8ths Wade and Butcher “For Barbers Use”
    Splash: TARR Rumania
Book: World of Colors ( Silverberg)

Today: Overcast with threat of sleet and freezing rain. The Shave: A very simple shave. I often forget how well the heavy razors clean off the stubble. The previously renewed, and new to me, W&B is a winner! The soap is a mentholated product and gave a lot of lather for a small amount of product. TARR, as always, definitely will wake one up!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
