    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 3
    Razor: Three Crosses ? GEM Junior for head
    Soap: Nannys French Lavender
    AS: Ogallala Limes and Peppercorns
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Uberclean

    This razor makes me happy, one of the best I've used, that has came out from Solingen. I think I damaged my GEM, when buffing/cleaning it , the SE blade is kind of loose. On the other hand I did buy a lot of new GEMs and SEs day before yesterday

    aaahhhh good to be shaving at home !!!!
    went strictly straight razors today , one that always provides a great shave , and one that i had my doubts about after a non-Orthodox experimental hone attempt with strictly barber hones ...lol... yep it needs more work but the other picked up the slack ...lol

    pre=SHOWER , SCRUB WITH BODY WASH
    soap= TAYLOR OF OLD (sandalwood)
    brush= THATER PURE BADGER
    razors= W.GREAVES & SONS / JOSEPH SMITH & SONS
    post = Proraso ( honey and ? ) Lotion
    results = The GREAVES came through like it always does , even picked up where the other lacked from not getting it honed the way it needed to be ..

    Prep~hot towel
    Soap~MWF
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Brush~Conk long handle badger
    Razor~Williams SRP #043
    Post~Alum block
    AS~Ogallala Bay Rum

    This was the maiden voyage for the SRP razor. Mr. Williams did a great job on these, my first custom razor and it's the thickest grind I have. I stuck to basics with the Mitchell's, it's my standard, go to soap. The scuttle is new to me as well, wish I had picked one up long ago! The shave was really smooth, WTG and XTG. Another first for me was the smile to the blade, but it seems to make the razor friendlier and more forgiving. The Ogallala, another favorite of mine, subtle scent with some soothing oil to it. Overall, a very nice, smooth and irritation free shave!

    Well, not that fancy. It is just a salsa bowl.
