    3rd anniversary SRP shave.
    Hot shower, Stephan's,warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Castle Forbes Shave Cream
    New Forest Badger brush
Wade and Butcher 5/8, full hollow, Barber's Notch
    SRP Premium Strop, 100 laps
    Razorock aluminum
    Pinaud Clubman AS
    Vaseline for Men

Unlike my last shave, this one was superb. The edge on the WB was perfect and easily glided over my sin and removed the whiskers. The CF shaving cream is always fantastic, thick, creamy and great glide. The BBT was passed with flying colors.

    Great shaves to-day, from all!
I have had this razor in my collection for a very long time. It has led me to embarrassment in trying to find out the maker and info. I first asked JimR and he promptly replied he was NOT Korean! I then took it to a local Korean-owned business and asked an old man who was in the store. He told me it said something of a flower on it and that the "77" was a model number. He then admonished me for having such a dangerous thing. THEN, an old woman came up and started giving him the what-for in Korean! (I honestly could not tell if they were arguing or discussing, but it did not sound good!) I slowly backed out of the store, smiling and waving! I give up!

Anyway, it honed up nicely from dead dull and delivered a fine shave!

Have a good, productive, and Blest week, ALL!

    Carl,
I'm envious of your adventure!! I'll have to tell my brother that you saw an Echidna!! He was over a couple days ago and mentioned that the Echidna was his favorite Monotreme!! I'm not kidding, that's what he said only a couple days ago. Your coast looks like some of mine down towards Half Moon Bay. It's a good thing you didn't fall off a rock!! A little injury can turn ugly when nobody expects you back for a day or so. You have inspired me to take shave tools with me next time I camp. I usually just forgo the shaving if I'm roughing it!

Thanks for sharing your trip with us!!

That's great. It's very interesting that your brother should say that; considering that there are only, I think, four monotremes, three being echidnas and also the platypus. I've never seen a platypus in the wild.

I'll Google Half Moon bay to see what it looks like. Yes, I did consider my foolhardiness, but I'm 50, one gets foolhardy at 50...

Yes, I do realise I'm rubbing it in a bit. I know we all feel where we live is the best, but I do honestly feel where I live (South Australia) is quite adequate for me...

Do you mean me getting around the place annoying the wildlife or the fires and floods and stuff?

It seems that 1/2 the country is ablaze and the other half is under water at the moment. I wonder when the pestilence will start?

Next thing you know there'll be hoards of drunk rampaging zombie wombats tearing all over the country riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and scaring the children...

Must of been those ones from the North, you've probably got a cruise missile headed for your house as I type...

Just joking, Kim, you really are a Great and Glorious leader, very fine and manly, esp when you're riding horses, and I'm sure you're looking after your people like a loving father...

I tend to loose track of how many head shaves I've had with my blades and use them way past they're prime.
When I put in a brand new Feather blade like tonight I'm always treated to an amazing shave.

Thanks for the posts and pics fellas
