Bomb goodfellow/ finebadger brush/ abr knyn 8/8/ pinaud clubman bay rum.
The new fine badger brush is breacking in fine, his performing is with every use better.
I Discover the bayrum a week or so back,( discover for my self! there are lots of guys that use this great stuff already for centuries ,but nobody tells me about this stuff so im a little delayed on this) .
The shave whit this razor is always good, heavy in my hands and cuts hair like as through soft butter. Result is smooth.
Have a great Tuesday.Last edited by kalerolf; 01-29-2013 at 08:03 AM.

Thanked: 36Prep: Hot Towel
Soap: MWF
Razor: Joseph Rodger and Sons (pawn shop special)
AS: T&H Grafton
Scuttle: GP G20
Shave: BBS
Just started honing a few months ago. I bought this razor the other day cheap at a pawn shop for the sole purpose of practicing honing. This was my first attempt to hone/repair a damaged edge (several nicks and I small chip) and also first attempt honing a slightly smiling blade. Nailed it the first time! Wouldn't have happened without the excellent videos and tutorials available from members here at SRP. Just wanted to say Thanks!

Thanked: 3226Prep - None
Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
Razor - Otto Busch "World Master"
Brush - Simpsons QE II Jubilee Manchurian badger
Soap - Palmolive Classic cream
Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel
Excellent cold water face lathered shave. Nothing bad to say about the Palmolive cream, works very well and love the scent. Funny, I can discern the differences between shave brushes and blades but I notice less the differences between various soaps/creams, aside from the scent, in how they aid in shaving. Hard for me to say I have a really bad one in my rotation or for that matter one that is head and shoulders better than the rest. Anyway, hope your shave was at least as good if not better than mine this morning.
