No straight razor shave today, but I have an extra smooth shave with my Merkur DE.
-Merkur 34c, DE razor
-Platinum Personna (#4), blade
-Proraso Sandalwood and Shea Butter, shaving Cream
-Semogue 2000, shaving brush
-Floid Suave ASL + 444 gel

It's been a busy week leading up to seating a jury on Monday morning. But I had to take a break to shave, especially with today being SWMBO's birthday! I decided to go top shelf in her honor!

Brush: 26mm Mountain Badger Silvertip in Juniper handle
Soap: Proraso SS/ Nancy Boy SC/ Glycerin squirt Uberliciousness
Razor: Kropp 6/8"
Post: Hot water splash/cold water rinse
Finish: Proraso AS/ Iggy's Balm
Result: Wow! I have been on such a good run that I keep looking over my shoulder. Fantastic 3 pass shave. Used the last bit of Nancy Boy cream, I will probably order more in the summer. Paired with the Proraso it is a great cool shave. Off to work feeling like a king!

This razor's edge was beginning to get a bit muddy so I gave it a few extra laps on the strop. Worked like a champ Catfish Belly Smooth Shave.The older I get, the better I was

Brush - SOC 2 band badger
Soap - Vitos Red
Post - Alum block followed by Thayers witch hazel
Excellent cold water face lathered shave. As good as yesterdays was I thought the blade had a little more to give so did a few more swipes on the finisher yesterday. It was there alright, super smooth and closer yet this morning. Hope your shave was even better to get you through hump day.
