    Hi Brian,

I'm very pleased to hear your new razor delivered a fine shave for you, a very fine looking razor indeed.

    Strop - J.R. Torrey paddle
Prep - Hot water + Shave towel
    Pre-Shave - Musgo Real Glyce
    Brush - Vulfix bristle
    Soap - Palmolive
Mug - James Kent "Old Foley" scuttle
Razor - 11/16 Joseph Elliot concave
Post - Thayers + Nivea balm

Small nick, first in awhile. Not as good of a shaver as my other Elliot silver steel but not "bad" by any means. Still enjoying the Palmolive

    Tuesday

    • Razor: Jernbolaget Frameback, leather scales, forced patina using citrus juice
    • Cream: Body Shop Macca Root
    • Hair Tonic: Pashana Bay Rum
    • Eau de Toilette: ‘Whisky’ by Evaflor

Nice shave with the Jernbolaget this morning. I now have a very nice edge on this razor. After two passes I was certainly GDS, ready for inspection. The Body Shop Macca Root lathers almost too easily. This has to be the cream for newbies who have trouble making a decent lather and want to concentrate on razor technique and be unhampered by a poor lather.

    Razor: Revisor 6/8 Seaman
Shave prep Morning shave, so a hot shower
    Brush: D.R. Harris
    Preshave: super hot towel only
Soap: Taylor of Old Bond Street, Sandlewood
    Scuttle: Simple soup bowl
Strop: Kanayama 20 canvas strokes and 60+ strokes on the leather
After Shave Splash: Nivea aftershave Balm

    Notes:
I kinda keep getting back to using TOBS Sandlewood soap this week. It was the first real soap I got after I found out about SRP, now more than three years ago. That was when we still got the ‘review’ section which encouraged me to buy it. I like it ever since!
When I stepped outside this morning and felt the freezing -2ºC air on my glowing face I got this super clean feeling skin rush.
    Bliss!
