Hard to beat the Gillette Slim Adjustable.

Since I'm still acquiring the necessary accoutrements to begin shaving with a straight, I find myself going back more and more to my custom-handled Parker. I spent some time perfecting the grip and getting the balance "just so." Name: SR2coco3.jpg

Once owned over 250 DE's but sold them all in 2007. The British Gilletes were once my favorites, especially the British "New"

I only have one DE and that is my Edwin Jagger 89L. I use it for my M-F shaves then switch to SRs on the weekends where I have more time to enjoy the experience of SR shaving. But the 89L has been a dandy work horse for me. I have had it for about 3 years and it still looks as good as the day I first took it out of the box.

Out of the thirty or so I own I most often reach for an R41 or, if I want the sensation of a Maybach over glass, the Futur on 5-6.
