Thanked: 1I use both hands, seems to help with the hard to reach spots. But one will do the trick.

I started early using my left for the left side of my face. It was awkward, but then again so was trying to shave the left side with my right hand, and trying to shave XTG on my right with my right from ear to nose.
Word of caution, the most unsafe part is passing the blade from one hand to another. Most chance to drop it.

You don't need to use both hands. Learn for now to shave with one hand. (Its a long way but a nice way) when you have the one handed shave mastered try to shave with your other hand.
In the mean time that you learn to shave with your dominant hand practice the non dominant with writing/,eat with a fork and more of the things you do normaly with your good hand.
You sall see it eventually becomes easier.

At some point I was quite adept at using both, but still found myself shaving predominantly with my right hand. I didn't find shaving with both hands to be superior to using only one, just different really. I stuck with just one hand, although there is the occasional stroke with my left.

I use both. Left still feels a bit awkward, but I think that's actually a good thing. I find I concentrate more when using my left, which gives me a closer and less irritating shave... Go figure the few cuts I've had we're all done when using my right hand.

Tons of threads with same question. Forum searches are great. I shave with both.

Thanked: 3Both. I've noticed that it helps to maintain angle and repetitive control. But yeah there is a learning curve if your left (or right) hand have always acting like a dead fish.
