Ive shaved with straights for 14+ years and yet to have a bad bleeder (on myself) knock on wood....I cant say the same for my customers lol...I caught the heel on a customers ear a month ago while giving a head shave and it was still pouring blood 15 minutes later even with heavy pressure and styptic powder.....he pulled the tissue off before he left and blood dripped all over his shirt....he still comes in once a week though.

Wasnt the first time ive got him, been shaving his head for probably 7 years or more, got him on the back of the head once, caught a bump and it decided to dive from there, we joke about his war wounds when he comes in

Earcutter I haven't got my lobes "yet" fingers crossed. But over the last few months of learning I have got both ears near my temples. Being a head shaver I start a bit higher than most. An yeah why do they bleed so bad? lol

Clipped my lobe a couple weeks back, first time ever. Had to laugh, and the first person I thought of was Earcutter. Maybe put the Princess band-aids on BEFORE you shave.
