What you are seeing is poor aftercare. I was shaving with a spike point and nicked the ear. I was frustrated with that razor and decided to finish up with my Feather AC and a Super Pro blade. I have lots of experience with the Feather and was both overconfident and in a hurry. I went to do an XTG pass and buried the blade in my cheek. I'm not sure how I managed to tip the blade, but I did. I tossed styptic powder on it and applied pressure. Once the bleeding stopped, I just covered it with a bandage. In retrospect, I should have put some butterfly strips on it to hold the slit shut. I removed the bandage twelve hours later to see this big smiling wound with a flap of dead skin that I removed prior to the picture.
No offense taken, but yes my dumb ass did this with a razor.

Wow you win. Now that you explain the scar.
You dont often see a scar with that wide of a expanse. Upside is you cut yourself along the surgical lines. If you go all Hollywood.Your only as good as your last hone job.

Upon contemplation of this hum-dinger of a sports injury, I motion that Mrchick's member status be modified to include the tameshigiri emoji. Maybe something like "Senior Member " or just "Captain ".
Do I have a second?Decades away from full-beard growing abilities.

Thanked: 1
Just found this thread. Managed to saw my index finger back in November, quick (but stupid) reflexes when I knocked my Landry, Frary, & Clark from the counter while I was shaving. Had just received the blade, shave ready, and, well..... Long story short, I managed to slice up a tendon and 3 nerve clusters. Surgery, 8 weeks in a cast and 6 weeks of physical therapy. Still don't have complete motion or complete feeling, but it works fine. Worst part was that I was one-handed for 6 weeks, so couldn't use my straight. The day that I could actually manage real shaving again........PRICELESS!!!!
