Picked up three good restoration projects in the last couple of days off ebay.

Two Wade and Butchers and a John Shaw. All three had what I consider pretty cheap BIN prices so I grabbed them.

That John Shaw is fantastic despite it's rough condition.

That's what I thought. It had a BIN price of $45 which I thought was too good to pass up on. It probably needs new scales but the blade should clean up well. Looks to be 13/16 - 7/8 in size.

Yep, I agree! I haven't seen a John Shaw with a blade of that size lately & if I did, it wasn't cheap! Good thing you got it because if Cardinal Phrank saw it, he would already have it at Val's!

That's why my mail box has a false bottom with a pressure switch activates paper shredder. But I have no clue why I only receive packaged.

Got this the other day off the Bay.
Scales a little warped, but a little hot water and a oversized brace and a minute in the fridge, took care of that. Next is to reblue the spine and tang.

    Oh ya, IT SHAVES AWSOME!!!!
