I tried to pick something that was resistant to moisture. I think both will be good for soap bowls.

There's dozens of horn bowls for sale on eBay. You don't turn a bowl out of horn, you press or form it.

Am sure your an expert,but that bowl and lid was turned out of a solid pce of horn.

Just got my shipping notification on my Dirty Bird skuttle. Hopefully, it will arrive on Saturday.
