I have a new storage cabinet in transit. I think I'll stay away from eBay for a while and concentrate on inventorying and cleaning up what I have.

Thanked: 4826That is a great plan Brian. I wish those case shipped to Canada at a reasonable price. It appears I will have to make one. I too am trying t o concentrate on getting caught up in my repairs and honing and trying to organize way too much stuff. I am over the moon with my Henckels display and need to create more like it. All in good time.

Thanked: 4206Found new ways to distract me from buying razors for a while.
Last four I bought, three from the infamous Quinton, and a beauty Greaves to compliment the one I have, all deals went bad for me.
Took it as a cosmic sign to take a break.

Thanked: 4826That is rather unfortunate that your sign came like that Mike. The first big change for me came as an unexpected expenditure of the lasting variety. I was traveling in Canada with my wife, driving my suburban, and it kept needing to be repaired. Over and over again. We had a full load of my daughters stuff from university, and my wife was slowly melting. So I bought a new truck and traded off the falling apart suburban. That pretty much ate up most of my disposable income. I was also becoming increasing overwhelmed by my giant pile of razors to repair. So here we are almost a year later and not that many purchases.

Thanked: 4206I was thinking of going back and rescaling some of my early works to avoid the fever once I clear my plate of current projects. Some of my first scales are clunky compared to what I go for these days.

My friend;
Number 1, Do you really think that you will ever clear your plate of current projects?
Number 2, Would Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni (Michelangelo) go back and repaint or re-carve his works later in life?
Just a thought to keep your works as they are so that someday you can pick them up and remember the day You'd First Made Them, then look at the ones made later on and smile to see your progress.
Just a thought my friend!Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Yeah, but many masters painted something new on the backside of the canvas.
Someday I am going to go back and redo some.
