Thanks for the tips on the clamping Shaun. Is indeed a strap clamp I bought for that box I'm building. Will try the tape on the joints as I have seen that used to prevent glue splotching as well.
In the wooden boxes are end mills. 1/8-1/2" in round and flat varieties.

They came from a tool shop, not Lee Valley, but I got them in the same trip for use on both the engraver, and for some milling on the lathe.

Aframes is where I got my kanayama from as well. Good seller, great strop. Enjoy.
Mines a few decimal places lower, but a great strop non the less. Fast and shiny..

He's a nice guy, I've gotten my 50000 and a couple of stones from him.

Thanks. The pile is getting embarrassing. I need to start working more than buying.

Some nice stuff here. Brian I know that song really really well. I am just getting the box manageable.
Mike I have no idea what to do with end mills, but I am guessing you are in the know. Good tools in skilled hands can do amazing things. I use masking tape, for protecting squeeze out, and clamping as well as fibreglass tape for clamping. Sometimes clamp pressure is hard to manage on small projects, and the weight of the clamps can be a hindrance too.
