That is very admirable of you guys up there, but wouldn't it be prudent for them to have this light to guide them through the dark times?

    Does UPS deliver on Saturdays?

I have a Naniwa 8k Super Stone that arrived in town early this morning. I suspect it won't be delivered until Tuesday due to the holiday.

Just landed and is warming on the counter then it's off for a Neatsfoot Oil Soak.

Sweet razor there, Roy. It looks to be in fantastic shape.

    What size is it?

It is in really nice shape. I'll probably only use some Mothers on the blade and maybe some 0000 steel wool on the scales and then a quick buff with some CrOx.

The Boars Nest has eaten my dial calipers as they aren't in the case but on my 12" stainless steel ruler it measures 8/8 from the edge to the top of the spine at the heel and 9/8 at the very end of the toe's edge to the top of the spine.

There really isn't any hone wear to speak of.

I'll wait to see how things go after the Neatsfoot soak as I might need to use a special hack saw blade to take the lead wedge back just a tiny bit as right now the tip of the blade is hitting it. Other than that the blade is pretty tight and it self centers.

    Thanks for looking and asking.

Ohh baby! Nice razor Roy. I have one similar that I am doing the same to. A little steel wool with oil, then a bit of Mothers mag and hopefully some of the patina will stay.

Scales look great on yours and the bullseye collars look in excellent condition too.

She's going to be a sweet one I'm betting!
