Congrats on a rare find.
I've compared mine against the two Blue's, and while I didn't think any hone could top an Escher, the Barber's Delight was absolutely noticeably a far superior hone. This may be subjective, but the razor felt sharper yet just as silky smooth, was a substantially better experience.
Let us know what you think....

My mature mine got mixed up yesterday. The two razors shown in post 6739 did not arrive yesterday, but in fact arrived today.
This is the razor that arrived yesterday.

Won this cup for next to nothing. Not fancy and no makers marks but its big. And has little shave brushes on it. Figured why not. I need more shave junk.l to display. Ha.
One pic with it next to a old spice cup so you can see the size.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Now that would hold just the right amount of coffee, for me.
Looks good, Jerry. Might hold a puck of MWCMike

As a coffee cup its a little on the small size for me. I like my coffee 20oz at a time. But it is on the big side. A bit thin too but will make a nice decoration if i dont use it for coffee. Its got a nice shape too.

This J.A. Henckles Friodur 472 1/2 W/Worked spine made it through customs on the 3rd and I should have it early this week.
This is not in the mail. I picked it up at an antique store about three miles up the road from me. 100th Anniversary for Schrade was 2004, which I believe is the same year Schrade shut down in the US and moved to China. The box is marked "Knife Made in U.S.A. - Ennenville, NY" and blade stamped
"SCHRADE / USA 340T". Unless this is a knockoff it should be one of the last produced in U.S.A.
Always carried a Schrade (even a hunting knife in Viet Nam) until they deserted, then I had to switch to Case.

I have one of the USA made Schrade's and I bought one for my son and they both have 80T on a blade and USA. The one that are made by the C. H. Ina Company either say China or nothing on the blades/I've seen the 'fakes' in the stores.
My Schrade is a good knife but my pride and joy that spends every day in my pocket was a gift from a newbie who I did some work on his razor N/C and he works for Case.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
