I just recently stopped using one I got for christmas. I don't think it hurt or helped overall.

Awww, you don't like the faux bamboo that looks like a bony finger?
That's what my wife said it looked like, a skeleton finger.

I have a couple of rocks incoming, as well as a couple of kamisori.
A Shohonyama Nakayama Kiita coming from Japan... shipped on Friday and due to be delivered Monday!!
A Ozuku tomae from Japanstone.
And two Kamisori from The Netherlands... ordered April 1st, and still not here! Go figure... Japan shipping: 4 days. The Netherlands shipping: 39 days and counting!Recovered Razor Addict

Oh yeah Aldwyn. You've fallen way down the kamisori hole now it seems. Not sure if congratulations or condolences are in order.
Oh well it's more things to enjoy right? May as well enjoy life while you can. That is crazy about the shipping.

Speaking of international shipping, that reminds me I have two Soviet era Russian razors I got from Ukraine months ago that I still haven't shaved with. They are both like NOS in original boxes. Be seeing those in the SOTD soon.

LOL! Well, right now, I only have the Tosuke Gold in shave ready condition. The Tamahagane one I bought for restation was a fail (to much pitting near the edge... it'll never bevel). So really... right now, at least... I only have one kamisori. At least until those two come in I mentioned already! (of course, I do shop them on ebay from time to time, soooo... ya never know!)
