Hmm let me see... Not much this week, 1 tub of Arko (red) and 1 tabac stick as I have never tried these so its about time I did. Oh and seeing as I only have one brush, I really splashed the cash and stumped up for.... an Omega 49 with the red handle. Thats me broke for a while 😉

I've been tempted to give one of these a go as well. But to be honest, since I bought my Tony Miller strop I'm just not convinced it gets any better. I guess I need to simmer a little longer.

I have been meaning to contact Neil about one of his strops for some time now. I have to many things going on at the moment and things have a tendency to fall between the cracks but I will be ordering one of his soon.

You have to follow his site closely. His inventory is available briefly before more become available. There may be some time in between where nothing is for sale.

I somehow ended up having 5 strops...

I have the whipped dog poor man's strop, an Illinois 361, a Filarmonica loom strop, a Kanayama #3 and a Tony Miller. Both the Kanayama and the TM are my favourites, hard to say if I prefer one over the other, but they are better than any of my other strops.
