    Only ONE DRAWER?

I keep the ones she like the smell of in the top drawer though
It's Obie's fault though, with this first tier stuff

+1, I have been using shave-sticks almost exclusively for the past four years as they are less work and allow me more time while face-lathering as I can eliminate having to load the brush in the container. Besides, as Bob states, they are superb travel companions.
The great thing is that you can make almost any soap into a shave-stick, although my shave-sticks all have Mystic Water soap in them.

The LPL Oud Santal LE Tallow is my favourite soap fantastic scent and performance, on the other hand all the the other non tallow LPL soaps I've tried went straight in the rubbish bin absolute crap, If the new LPL tallow based products are all like this then they get my vote fantastic no doubt.

Nice package from B52 to-day! MDC Argumes! Love the smell. Will go after it in the morning.
    Should be a summertime favorite!

Lots bitch about the plastic jar...To me, it is fine.
Seems high-class plastic. Really looks like glass. With my old original glass jar, I am careful it does not fall off the sink. I reckon I should not let this hit the floor either!

    Thanks, Mike!

Look forward to your review Tom. Whip up a frenzied foam!
I really enjoy the lemony scent as well. Definite summer scent..

Nice stuff, as-expected. Light, cool, lemony scent.
Face-lathers easily and has great shaving properties.

FME, the MDC scents of all flavors seems to get stronger with a few uses.
I would not mind if it did. We shall see!

Purchased Le Père Lucien's (LPL) Abricot (apricot) a few weeks back and gave it a try with today's SOTD. It was a no-go. I tinkered with adjusting the mix a few ways and none really worked in terms of improving the soap's performance. After that, I rinsed off and finished my shave with an Esbjerg soap and had a comfortable, satisfying shave.

While LPL's tallow Oud-Santal is a lovely performer, LPL's veg formulations just have not hacked it for me with a straight shave (they may be OK with DEs). Like Bob mentioned a few posts back, I'll repurpose the veg tins for other pucks. Going forward, I may try future LPL tallow soaps but am done with LPL vegetal products.
