1/2 hr Bike ride
Really nice day for a ride. First time on the bike since the end of May. Did about 15ks. Tried to just enjoy myself but did a few sprinty things anyway.
Expected the coffee shop at Charleston to be open and was looking forward to a flat white but it was closed, so I popped into the pub next door and had a schooner of stout instead. Pretty much sculled that than hopped back on the back for the ride home. I'd spent the morning trimming the hedge interspersed with a a few sets of bench presses on the bench out the front on the veranda until the wife saw me and ordered me back to work.
So now I'm feeling rather sleepy after cutting my hair, showering and dousing myself in unreasonably large quantities of Wahl Bar Rum.
Enjoying a nice cold Chardonnay on a lovely 29 degrees spring day :-)

Had a great 39km ride on the singlespeed this morning. Can feel that my fitness levels are returning after having a winter break.
Yesterday's strength training: exercise ball bench dumbbell press x 10 reps, swimmers press x 8, push-ups x 10, front/side raises x 8, super mans x10 (2 sec hold), Russian twists x 15/ side.
This morning's run: two miles of groomed, wood chip trail.
