No, not for "phone" use, for navigation and other apps. Took a call in route today, but phone was in jersey pocket. Wind isn't an issue if you match its speed and direction. Hands free is when i sit up and steer with my hips.

Here's a few of my rides ;
Surly 1+1 single speed full rigid with 650B wheelset
1973 Schwinn Paramount P-15 road bike
Nagasawa fixed gear track bike with a road fork and front brake
Me on the trail on a Willits 29er
And I ride one or another damn near every day.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I know those guys. "Of" them anyway. Saw Richard Schwinn speak at NAHBS, met "Mr. Willits" there a couple of times, had a photo of Nagasawa brazing on my desktop forever. Have seen the Nagasawa brazing vids, he rocks it (show the steel who is boss huh--My impersonation of Richard Sachs (a pal and Nagasawa owner) doing captions for the Nagasawa vid. Well, no personal connection to Surly, but it's all steel.
You've covered the bases quite well with "obsolete" materials. Well-done.
and BTW if you or a pal are thinking about a Coconino, Steve is closing his order book for the year* very soon. Andele Andele!
*Instead of creating a multi-year order book, Steve opens the order book in Jan and closes it when he gets the amount of bike orders that he wants to try to fill for the year. I think that's a good system. A lot can happen in a 2-5 years wait, as the case has developed for some builders.

none of mine are quite as nice as the classics and cruisers here. Rode my Giant CX bike to work today. I have a set of wheels for street and a set for CX. Quite a nice bike to ride.
I'm going to need a bigger bathroom
