WOW! Sometimes when I ride my minds wonder and I think I can ride like that, then the old lady on the phone brings me back to reality. That's some hard work there!

Hey Danny! I'll keep it simple: How many broken bones during the years?

I have broken both my feet several times...I've got a pin in my right wrist, I've broken my left collarbone 3 times, most memorable break was trying to keep up with Gee Atherton in practice for a downhill race in California which ended with me breaking my collarbone for the third time in 6 months...
Ouch! It hearts thinking about it!

Thanks! I love it. in the UK we can get bikes tax free if they are used for commuting to work. I pay £17 or 28 USD a month for a year and get that little beauty for it.

    Here's my daily commute, 1998 Gary Fisher-Supercaliber.
I done a custom build from the frame up in 98, raced it for 2 seasons on the Southern England MTB circuit. It's got some serious road and off-road miles on it and it is all original spec still apart from the tyres.
I rode with the Legend himself Gary Fisher in the late 90's and it has been signed by him.
It is still a seriously quick bike and weighs in at around 22 pounds.

In the UK the word 'pushbike' is slang for a pedal cycle. It also helps to differentiate it from the other type of 'bike', a motorcycle.
Well educated Brits refer to pedal cycles by their correct name 'velocipede'.

I had a nice Trek "600", but I sold it when I moved to Fairbanks, AK. Up there, I bought a 1990 Bianchi "Volpe", which I shipped back when I returned to South Florida, and I'm now back riding it daily (on-road, only), for exercise and enjoyment. I'm also near the end of a year-long rebuild of a 1976 Raleigh-made (Canada) "Grand Prix", rebranded for Intersport as their "Concours".

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
