Stripped down an Erik Anton Berg. I think the scales are horn as one split along a grain line near the top pin. They're dinged up enough that I think a fresh pair of horn scales shall suit it just fine. Love the visible fish.

Are you going to repaint that blade?
Sanded the last coat of Tru- oil on the zebrawood scales, for the Frederick Reynolds.

Then hand polished them with Howard's Restor A Shine, and sealed with Jubilee kitchen wax, + a touch of pledge.

Things were moving along so well, the test fit was dead on, so....lets pin it up!!
Hmmm. How bout brass domes in brass pins. I used under washers with the domes, so as not to cut into the scales, which left them a bit proud, but I like it.[emoji57]
