    Preparing some Gabon Ebony scales (inside and out) for two razors. The ebony came precut off Ebay. Just needed to sand down and shape the scales a little more. Finish with some Purdey's... a few more coats of slackum oil and grain filler to be continued.

    Just need to set the wedges and pin it up proper.. then hone of coarse. Taking a break for now and will finish up later..
    I don't know if Purdeys Warthog kit is still is available. I think Slacum oil is basically carnuba wax and linseed oil. Sticky stuff.

    Tombles, about 2 3/8 long, 30mm where the knot should go. Short and fat, or shorter and fatter??
