Made some new scales for this Barbers Pet made by Simmons. Sanded all the rust out of the blade, black horn scales with Mammoth tooth wedge, and its ready for pinning and the stones.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Roy, I think some of those blades were date marked with numbers and letters like the DE razors.

Thanks gentlemen. Here's another pic. Got my yards cleaned up of leaves today. That 1.1 acres with 8 trees. The wife loves trees but I got to clean up the mess. And managed to get 5 razors ready for the hones. 3 still need pinned.
Guess I'll have plenty of new razors to shave with in the next couple weeks. Might have to put more of an angle on the wedge of the Simmons. It just dont look right to me. It is a wedge shape but dont look like much of one.Last edited by Gasman; 10-22-2017 at 04:27 AM.

Funny John & good one too. I actually wasn't going to put that pic in there at first but I wanted others to see which way to take off any excess metal & not 90 degrees from that.

Sometimes ya gotta show people & I figured if I show the Dremel, it would be obvious enough, even if they used a DMT like I have before, it just takes longer. If someone is afraid of a Dremel, I suggest making escape plans immediately, run, do whatever they can before there's a Texas Dremel Massacre.................
