What no whiskey in the house? You forgot to get more before the last bottle ran out?
Well now we know that twisting your ankle is to be expected, as apparently you are very careless ;)

Mike, I hope you get better asap. Yep, ArmorAll is good for some things but not everything. I had someone put some on the seat of my Harley at work once & it was like sitting on oil & I about slipped off. The guy thought he was being funny but I got him back & he never messed with me again. I'm sure no one was pulling a prank on ya though.
Those scales look great!!!!!
That’s looking good! I haven’t gotten into mine yet, it’s in some pretty rough shape, probably going to take a few hours just to get the scratches out of it where it looks like someone attacked it with a grinder.
How’s yours shave?
Holy crap Mike. I've been so busy in my own shop and driving truck, that I didn't know you got hurt until now. Put the Diller aside for a while until you feel better. You might try soaking that ankle in some hot epsom salt water. You take care now.
Settled on a lead wedge for Benz's scales. Mainly for balance, but the original was as well.
Though I mocked it up with screws, it wasn't needed.
Being the original collars were done, I made some small brass domes, and pinned with nickle/silver rod.
She's ready for a honing, and a test shave or two. Then a final tightening, and clean-up of the pins and wedge.
