In all art schools they SHOULD be teaching the technique of the Masters, IMO.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. An absolute learning tool.
What looked good then?
Looks good now!

It could be worse--John Fogerty (of Credence Clearwater Revival) was sued by his former bandmates for 'now get this' for Plagiarizing one of his own songs! John won but had to go to the United States Supreme Court to have his legal fees paid back to him---Honest! No Shite!
Finished up the Wosty last night, and put it to the hones.
Today's shave was incredible... Love them Wostys!

Pinned with brass rod, and some of Austin's brass domes.
Bevel set on the big green brick, then progressed on a Washita, fast cutting Thurigan, and finished on a B/G Escher. Attachment 293225
Nice work as usual guys. Some of you guys are gonna g have to step up your game and start casting your own silver scales!
Just changed a gnarly diaper, so that's something!! I'm a pro at that now.
Really nice examples of bone scales Sharptonn. Are those exceptionally clean or can you get any bone looking that nice by bleaching? I'm referring to the spots where tendon connected to bone. I imagine they feel nice in the hand.
Took a moment tonight, and cleaned up the BJ Eyre & Co.
Late W. Greaves & Sons.
Unpinned, cleaned up the blade with 3M and Never Dull wading, repaired a couple spots on the scales with CA, some lite sanding with 600 grt. and steel wool, then polished them out with Flitz, and pinned with brass rod and original steel domed collars.
I thought the collars were just dirty brass, but lo n behold, their steel, nickle, or both. This was the first time I've encountered these, that were salvageable.

Keeping it real. Looks cool, Mike!
You need a vast collection of non restored SR to keep up with you!
Looks excellent regardless of speed though.
He just can't stand it, can he? :D
Stand um up! I'll knock um down.

Seriously, that is the most which should be done on something such as this. It is still what it is and always was.
Well-Done!
