I've been sitting in front of the stones trying to empty the "Needs Honed" Cup. Got halfway thru it. Plus I re-used a couple sets of old scales and pinned two of these up. I got enough ready for test shaves for a week or more now.

BTW, Nice job on those Razors Mike. it's nice when you can keep most all the original parts so they don't look like new production razors.
Sheesh! Are you freakin' kidding me, Gasman?!
More like RADling-Gun Jerry if you ask me. :rofl2:
Im Still a bit on the slow side when it comes to honing, but they seem to be done right in the end. Another 6 to go before the cup is empty. But sense im going thru all my razors one at a time and testing edges, this will go on for a few months before im done.
My mom came through last week. She brought over an older but decent thick deer skin I had tanned last winter. Gonna find a flannel to line it with I think and then sew up a nice roll kit. Seven razor slots, paddle strop, shave cream space, and a brush slot. Any thoughts I've put a couple together now but this will be a lot more going on. Threw a ball cap on the skin for size perspective.

Well I've been working on getting a workshop together and so today I put out the feelers to see what more could be done and I had the greatest luck! :)
A buddy of mine has a pro woodworking shop that I can use after work hours. It has everything and more as far as tools go. Also has a cnc machine but I know very little about those machines.
Very good news! :)
As a former Boy Scout and Assistant Boy Scout Scoutmaster please remember:
'Always leave your campsite better than you found it'.
In other words make sure that you not only clean up any mess you've made but make an effort to do things like empty any garbage cans, sweep the floors etc.
Also if you are to use any machinery make sure that you are properly trained on it and that you don't abuse it.
While it might be refused, an offer of a few dollars to help with lights, heat etc would be a good gesture to make.
If you follow the above you should be welcome back time after time.
