His shipping is snail slow so order a couple of months before you need them. I'm not complaining. I did that when I ordered from him the first time. Should have ordered more of them as they are great collars. The olny thing to keep in mind when using them is you need a flat serface for them to sit on. They will not conform to a rounded/beveled scale. Solid, flat bottomed and well made!
I did not know he is a member here.
BTW, I got 4 razors honed today. HOTD.It's just Sharpening, right?

Shame, Shame!
OK, Jerry, I got one repinned, profiled, honed through 12k.
I got 3 through the 1/2k. Surprisingly 2 needed a lot of work.
I reckon you win......Last edited by sharptonn; 03-22-2019 at 02:51 AM.

A little horse trading with Sonnythehooligan, got me this
George Wostenholms, IXL Razor, Patent Hollow Ground..
Took it down for a bit of cleaning on the blade and scales, an some sanding in the tang to clean up some of the pitting.
Pinned back up with brass rod, original collars n wedge.
Should hone up quickly, tonite.

Thanked: 315Those double concave are beautiful. Any different than shaving with a wedge or rattler?

I don't think it a double-concave at all...Fullered wedge, I think?
Perhaps a half-rattler?
