Time to put the top down, but decided to try some goo-gone on the horrid back window.

Funny, an ebay seller was advertising some as Judaica.
I reckon the center-front reminded him of the wailing wall??

Canadian comedians love to poke fun at politics and politicians. This hour has 22 minutes did a skit about Jean Chrétien going to Moose Jaw Sask with the same theme. I find it all very funny.

Does Goo Gone work for hazed, plastic headlight lens covers as well?

I cannot tell your photo apart from one staged by the maker of the product itself. Well done, sir.

It would certainly be cool if it did.
I wouldn't have thought it would clean the window like that!

Was going to test it on a headlight, but all I could find was Goof Off. That stuff is harsher than Goo Gone and has a warning that is can damage some plastics.

Nice job Tom. But Im enterested in this question too. The wife always has a bottle of goo gone under the sink. And my headlights could use some help. Too lazy to go buy the kit to do it right.

Hope its not going to act like break fluid does. Clean and shines, than turns to a mess after a few days.

I watched a professional outfit polish the plastic headlights and they showed a few of the 'home grown' remedies and for the life of me I can't remember what the one liquid one was but it did look nice--for a few days--then they looked worse than before

I do hope Tom's solution works. A semi flexible plastic is entirely different than say the headlights.

Loving my four day weekend! Got my dent removal tool for the W&B collars finished and got most of the dents out. Got it pinned up and just need to polish the pins (ugh) and hit the hones. I don't know why I can happily polish away on a blade or scale for hours, but when I'm doing pins it seems like the most tedious thing ever . The blade is closing to the right and I've done about all I can with directional pinning. I think the drill may have wandered a bit when I re-drilled the pivot hole. I usually use a 3/32" bit for a little wiggle room, but I realized for some reason I used a 1/16" . For now I'll get a couple shaves in and re-do the pivot hole later. Overall it came out pretty good, the scales are not Outback good (sorry, I couldn't bring myself to use the dremmel - kept having visions of catastrophic disaster), but I'm satisfied. I'll post pics on the restore thread in the next couple of days.

Put my big boy pants on and went after a heel correction spotted by Euclid440 on my Wey Hand (https://sharprazorpalace.com/custom-...e-mistake.html) and got the toe looking better. I'll get pics up here in the next couple days, I'd like some feedback before I spent a lot of time touching up the edge.

Also got a shave in with the Genco I honed up a couple days ago to try some of the JaNorton challenge tips. It's official, that thread has improved my honing. Best shave I've had with that blade. Taking my time and really checking the edge multiple times along each stage made quite a difference. These last two edges are shaving better than the Dovo I had honed at a local knife shop with honing services when I started back with straights. Really appreciate all the great info at SRP, it's really stepping up my skills.

Ah, well...all good things must come to an end. Back to the real job tomorrow.
