    Looks like you had to increase the smile when you got rid of the chip at the toe and cleaned up the heel. I think it actually looks better this way.

    Thanks, I like the new profile also. I adjusted it some to take the rock out if the stroke to keep the bevel even. Now it lies nice and flat on the stone.

    Yep, this one was a freebie that my daughter got at a local Ulta store. They make bigger ones and sets. As you said, the polisher feels like plain foam but you can tell when you use it that it is an ultra fine buffer.

    Never thought of using a nail buffer. What a great idea!

    I am continuously impressed by the imaginative tricks of the trade you can pick up on SRP.
