    Keep sanding.
Use a flat stick on the tang, Paul. It'll keep the original grind lines, sharp.

It's a tapping block for wood flooring. I got it a Lowes or Home de Pot, one of the two. Works great for sanding razors.

Cool, I actually have one of those from when I installed Laminate flooring in my last house.

If I could get some of those flat strips of magnet to glue on and some denim over that for softie, I reckon I'll have something that might sand my razors for me while I go and watch telly

Mike, sometimes I lay the paper on the counter or table and sand the flats on it to crisp up the lines but that doesn't always get the flat part as it is often recessed below the edge. A furring strip block is good to get the angled part. I use a block of balsa afterwards to get the flat that the hard block wouldn't pick up because it has more relief to it.

Somebody used something really aggressive on it. There are some really deep scratches. I don't know if I want to sand that much. I've not foiled one yet and I honestly don't want to.

Wasn't that where David Carradine got his start?

He was choosen for Kung Fu, not because he was a matial artist but because he trained in Ballet so he was flexible. That's what the story going round in England at the time was anyway.

Not sure about any of those things but I heard the way he died was autoerotic asphyxiation. (Shudder)

I just always thought it was funny how they put a white guy in that part. "If I squint I'll look Chinese." Actually I think he was supposed to be half Chinese and half Japanese.
