    Very well executed, my good man. Ive played very little with inlays, or should I say..onlays. Not my cup of tea, I found out. Glad someone has the nack for it.

    1600s katana razor in progress. I cut the rough outline and carefully and painstakingly ground in primary hollows. With differentially hardened steel this is very tricky because the wheel alternates between wanting to dig into the soft steel and jumping over the hardened edge. And with this steel there are no do-overs so patience is the name of this game.

    This isn't one of those old Katana's pieces I gave you way back is it? I still have both those razors....nice!

    No this is from a broken sword with the heat treatment still intact. I got it via So Yamashita way back.
