More progress on the pointy stick project. Today i forged a D shaped guard and hot fitted it. Handle also sized properly. Tomorrow I'll need to do a final hot adjust to fit it flush against the shoulders, and then it's ready for heat treatment and cleanup / fine shaping of the guard.

Thanked: 4206Not shave related but what I was working on this weeknd.
Broken Victorian era chair that has been in the family for over a century now had a broken cross brace. Wanted to repair it before it started to weaken the legs so bust out the good glues.
First repair the joint with the titebond since the dowels were still intact.
Then to replace the missing wood I mixed up some sawdust and G2. Masked off the edge to allow some depth and filled the void.
Stuff self leveled, and today I trimmed off the over edge and the chair is good as new.
Cheers gents, hope y’all found something to keep busy at."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."
