GB Anchor brand. This is the one Rez picked up from the Movember auction.

So far, it's been tore down, scales cleaned up, dyed, and soaking in the oil bath.

Tang and spine sanded with 400, and just about have all the hone wear outta the show side of the blade.

As much as it will let me. I expect some pitting will remain. Lots of sanding to go, so who knows.

A quick update, and restore trick I use when removing hone wear.

Things are going good, though a little weary of some of the pitting at the toe, near the edge. Lots of sanding to go yet, so I'm still hopeful.

But as I undercut the spine and smooth it out, I occasionally check my progress to see where I'm at along the spine, by passing a DMT along the length of the blade. A dark line will show you your progress, and keep u from sanding the actual spine of the razor. No change in original geometry, just more appealing to the eye.

Hone wear gone, now it's, sand sand sand sand, then sand some more.

It's been sanded to the point there's no edge, bevel. So...a quick check with the DMT.

Bout as good as it gets, without a machine. . More sanding.

    Looks awesome, Mike!

It gets tough for me as only a few pits remain. Those jokers are sometimes not worth it!
