Thanked: 4207+1 to the hand saving. Been testing it out on 80 grit an a old rusty Rambo knife I found in a tackle box. Works the bomb indeed at 80 grit.
Reduced my rpm and generated metal, but no heat. Very cool option. And reversing to fluff the wheel is good thinking. Didnt think I would use the reverse much but it was in the original circuit I built so wth.
Just picked up 4 more buffs and 180, and 300 compound so I can have 2 wheels loaded with 80 and one each at the higher steps..
Next I need to see if I can restore my very old lathe.. Feel some word projects growing in the wintertime..

It's nice now....I personally love the cold, colder the better, but for some when the wind gets going and it's -20, sometimes down to -30 with the wind chill, and lots of snow, it can get a little bit "uncomfortable". Of course, through in a major ice storm where we were all basically out of power for a week in deep winter...that sucks.
Ohhh...and compared to BobH up in Thunder Bay, I live in the tropics.....

Well, I just started closing the windows at night last week. I still work outdoors all day in just a t-shirt (I leave the house at 6 AM dressed that way). You have to relax and embrace the cooler weather, the sooner you start to acclimate, the better you will stand up to the real cold.
