Thanks guys...strange, I can't see a bellied grind face on, but if I feel all along the blade itself, there is a distinct thin bulge all along....when I first posted the razor, when you look at it a certain way, almost looks like a "hamon" line all along the face on both sides...strange (grinding?), none of my others have it...on to the stones tomorrow...then leave it the heck alone.

    Razor on gents!
Only Bossiff Bros razor I have seen! And a SS St Louis one as well!

    Should turn up a treat!

I expect you have a 'bellied' grind on most, if not all of your big, thin razors.
TBH, 3 grinds are common if not sanded or ground upon.
If a razor is in bad condition, it can be brought to worse by eliminating the transition of the different stone's grinds.
In other words, the belly can be sanded-off?

Best to begin with pristine examples..... I think we know that!

Thanks Tom, just hitting the 1k now....

Yes, clearly you can feel the "belly" on the blade, and one of the things I made a point of doing, was trying not to sand to hard on the bulge, just clean the spit off....can't get it perfect of course, nor want to ruin the grind of the blade for cosmetic purposes, so will show nicely in a pic, nice ridge at the bottom 1/3 of the blade.

It's a storage box for jewelry. Those trays are actually made for this type of box and there are many different configurations available for the trays. These particular trays have ten compartments that are the perfect size for razors. The case that I have has ten drawers so it has room for 100 razors.

Google has them. It seems they are way easier to find in the US than Canada.
