No scent that I could smell. No smoke just a divot. I smoke so smelling smoke is difficult and it just makes me want to inhale it

I dunno. I think it came under lots of names, including French ivory.
I want to say 'Ivorine' as well.
It has stood the test of time much better than many early German and American versions.
Neil Miller knew all that. It's here somewhere!Last edited by sharptonn; 04-27-2017 at 03:49 AM.

Thanked: 4206Really nice job Tuzi. Smooth flow between the spine and curve of the scale. Love that translucent honey horn when It's thinned and polished well..

While it's not what we're looking for, I thought that those of use who knew him might enjoy once again reading about his wealth of knowledge. Neil is very much missed/at least by me.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words and support, it means a lot! It was lot of work, most everything by hand, so it's nice to have good folks who can appreciate it. I shaved with it this morning and it was absolute sweetness!
@Bejay - I got the scales material from Maggard. It was a nice piece, I was able to cut both scales from the same blank."Go easy"
