Their thin like ivory, so I'm curious on how strong this size repair will be, will it easily snap, or will it hold....?!!
It didn't come out as nice as I was hoping (visually) but seems quite strong when lightly flexed.

The blade is another issue to be handled. [emoji57]
Ya know..My memory is notsogood...I just realized!

That old Curley (Bros) was sold from New York and was likely Sheffield cottage-production.
    As best I know, anyway...
It wound up in Texas...Via Australia!

Oz sent me that a number of years ago. Being the sexy beatch she is, I never got to it!

So I sent it to Akron...Looks like it is finally getting done!

Well thank you, for the razor and the history behind it. I figure if it doesn't hold I may have to add a couple pieces of the fiberglass mat. Though I may do that anyhow, just to make sure it doesn't pop.

Hey Outback. Have you considered bleaching the bone scales a bit to make them better match the color of the CA/soda repair?

I did think about it....may still, but I like the colors it has in them now. Took a long time to get there, and can't be duplicated. They have a nice swirling grain about them, and if bleached it may not be as visible.

Well, It's pretty cool. Lots of my stagnant old razors have gone out lately.
Going by the 4 year rule...If they have sat for 4 years, might be time to get them to someone else?

    Glad to see it!

The bubinga is looking good too, Mike. Won't be long now before that Packwood is up and running.
