Funny this Bog Oak material, and of course just finished a rather costly bathroom renovation, and I'd completely forgot that over 3 months ago I emailed Ulrik and ordered a razor and the invoice decided to show up.

But lo and behold, one of MikeB52's posts back then obviously stuck the idea in my head, my Koraat razor has....stabilized Bog Oak scales....been a long wait, but can't wait to see it.

Sometimes my lack of attention is mind boggling. I just posted this in the wrong thread and then deleted it. Here we go second try.

I have been drawing and redrawing a couple of things in an attempt to get them right. The turtles will be a gift for one of my daughter.

I need epoxy and cannot actually start right away. The shark and the seal I will start inking onto bone tomorrow. I am preparing the pair of scales sides tonight.

Err Rez. Sharks don't have eyebrows but I full accept artistic license

It does not look as mean without the eyebrow. Besides maybe your shark does not have them but mine does. LOL nothing is cast in bone yet!

    Stabilized...!!!
I would think it would be all but petrified already. I know the stuff I'm working with is harder than normal oak and needs no stabilization.
Hmm...curious to see what yours looks like.
