I did not stick knot, is an silvertip and I think it deserves another piece of material.
What do you think, must I change something?
PS: I also put a piece of wood and an brush for comparison.

Some things I'm noticing. You need to drill the hole for the badger knot, quite a bit deeper. I can see the base plug, and it needs to be set deeper. Try and leave somewhere around 50mm of hair exposed above the handle. If you glue it in the way it is now, you'll end up with a brush that's a floppy mess and wont make lather from anything.

Your shape and sanding look very good. Beech wood is perishable, which means you need to finish it with something. If you wanted to used something that's quick and easy, Just use a regular Tung oil or linseed oil. Apply a generous amount, then wipe clean after about 15 min. Try and do 3-4 coats. Should be all it needs.

My room is done! The last two days have been 16hrs each day getting it all put back together. And thats not counting the new electrical or new feed-thru- the- pall panel for coax and control wires. But its done. In the picture you can see the main part of the room. I'd have to post a lot of pics to show all the details of what happened but you get the picture for this. Still got to deal with an over stuffed closet. And the closet needs painting too but that wont take days to do.

The wife said she was sorry for saying she wanted to paint my room as she had no idea it would take so much work. It needed done so at least I wont have to do this ever again. Now maybe next weekend I might be able to get back on the razor work I've had hiding in a box. Hope so!

    Thx,
I've seen on youtube a technique by which the oil and CA layers were combined.
So for a soft wood an "oil bath" is required.
I understand that we must deepen the hole... Now has about 5 mm, I go up to 1 cm?
And ... for a good fixation is useful epoxy resin with slow hardening (the same as that used in the micarta - I have an attempt there) or it needs something more "elastic"?

Well, i can go to so many frequencies i might find ufo's. The amp is covered with a towel as i like to keep the dust out. This pic is showing about 2/3 of the radio equipment i use. Its a small room so full pic is just not do-able. The Ham Shack/Razor room. But no sanding allowed. Ha.
