To photograph translucent scales, try cutting a piece of aluminum foil to go between them to act as a reflector. Many times it works wonders.

Thanked: 4827To be honest, I don’t know who made them. They are not made the same as the ones that I have gotten from Austin. I think I got them horse trading with Tom. I think Tom likely got them from Romania. I believe the guy that did make them does not make them anymore. I have only a few sets.
