Been working on this on and off for a couple of months. Screwed up the relief cuts at the tang blade junction. Still plenty of steel there to clean them up. The geometry is a little wonky but sits really nice on a hone and throughout the honing stroke. Steel is 1085.

The sides on the spine are very thin. Looks extra hollow. Nice.

Fairly hollow. The initial hollow was with a 6” wheel, then I went straight to a 3”. I think I’m going to thin out a little more. Right now the fuller has a .20” web thickness atm. Doesn’t flex under honing conditions just at the edge if you torque it. It feels like a 1/4 hollow on the face , weight in the hand is more like a 1/2-3/4 hollow. I think your bone will compliment it nicely.

Thanked: 4826It will be great all dressed up.
I hope you can maintain the transitional grind line right through to the finish. It looks super crisp still. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
