I never use my phone for ebay viewing. I did not have the experience that he admits he is wrong and resolves the issues. That is actually my big issue with the seller. It was not the first time I received the wrong razor. It has actually happened three times. The other two were super easy to resolve, because of communication. One of the other sellers was in Japan and we had a small language barrier. If his communication after a sale has improved, it would make dealing with him easier. I know there are people on both sides of the fence about this seller, so be informed and purchase if you like, and yes he does sell a lot of razors for what seems like very low prices.

Well, at least some have not been taken for a ride by this guy. Bad business practices leave one hell of a bad taste in my mouth. Quality doesn't only apply to steel. That being said, a seller don't have to kiss my backside to have me as a customer.

There is a crotchety, unscrupulous S.O.B. of an old man that runs a tire shop the next town over. Call, tell him the size of tire, ask how much & if he has any on hand. Show up, tell him what ya need, do what he says, bing, bang, in and out on the cheap for some lightly used tires. Waste his time with anything else, or act like your time is more precious than his, and the hair trigger on his A-hole switch will get flipped before you can blink! But he is honest.

The first two razors I bought were of lesser quality than advertised, he refunded 50% on each one, making them very good deals. I'm not sure why he refused to respond to you, but you got a full refund and the razors...

It's my opinion that he's simply someone who bought a large stockpile of razors realizing he could make money, but has no clue what they are besides being razors. He now puts them at lower ratings as far as condition, and doesn't list much besides pictures. If he changed or used false pictures, that sucks and there's not much to say about that. But if you are one of the ones that outbid me on an 8/8 filarmonica novodur for under $150, with no hone wear, then you probably don't have hard feelings towards this seller. I bought a NOS essentially friodur 472 from him for $46, so my feelings towards him are weary, but not negative.

    Where's the beef?

This looks to be missing quite a bit of blade but described as having moderate surface wear.

Someone did some serious work on that heel. It must have been a very large chip.

Shave Ready Straight Razor RARE George Savage 15 16 Beveled Spine Sheffield | eBay
By some metrics, this would be a choice razor. I find it blown out on a number of levels and generally it makes me a little sad to see what was once a great razor being tarted up for a beauty contest. This is how to obliterate character in a razor.
Funny, but some members are wondering why I put this here....

    Broken Blade Alert?
"Filarmonica Doble Temple 12 Jose Monserrat Pou Espana" Shaving Razor with Box | eBay

It's bad enough ebay'ers post terrible blurry pictures of razors but this one didn't even bother to display the blade open.
