Thanked: 1371I wonder how bad the nail that was used as a tang pin looks on the back?
It's pretty obvious that the seller intentionally covered it with his thumb for that picture.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I don't think the razor in post 231 is original to those scales.

That is one of the issues with it.

Here's one: look near the toe and you can see how the pitting has been buffed up. That combined with the shadowy lighting makes it difficult to tell there could be problems near the edge, but the razor looks shiny and attractive to those not in the know...

Thanked: 6Here is one that defies logic, spelling, and grammer, Not to mention that it would be impossible for a newbie figure out what it is. I'm sure the seller doesn't have a clue! Ebay # 221206144189. I do not know how to get the picture posted, Sorry. Maybe someone can link it to ebay for me (DUMB!!!)

Thanked: 247It's a razor with a lot of spine wear, in scales that don't belong on it, with red rust creeping up the cutting edge, possibly causing swiss cheese effects in the steel. Any one of the three things I listed, is enough reason all on it's own to avoid that razor. Unless you had a blade that you wanted the scales for.

Not that this is hard to pick out, but it makes me sad, I have been looking for one of these and other than the abuse.....

Thanked: 1184The Ultimate sad !!
Okay here is the ultimate sad. I popped a bid on this early without looking and I will let it go without looking back. The list of bad on this poor thing is so long I can't post it in 1 thread. The description is somewhat accurate but what lies beneath the truth here is even worse in my opinion. I bet the Ducks are missing on the backside of the scales. That view is missing for some reason.
Maybe it would be easier to list what you think might be good about this razor. I didn't post the link because the zoom pics will make you cry.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
