Wade Butcher Faux Frameback
OK, this is a non-Ebay razor a local is offering to me. I see the corrosion on the front part of the spine. The main issue is the hone wear--looks like a couple of mm?? How serious is this?

The 'corrosion' on the spine is just aesthetics and will not effect the quality of the shave. While I see some hone wear that too will not effect the quality of the shave. Bottom line is "would you be happy with this razor and what it would cost to own?" From a usable perspective I don't see any issues in your pictures but I did not do a close inspection.

That one is going to cost someone a arm and a leg. And it's a pain to restore with all the inlays.

It is busted! Are there any guys out there who can remove and transfer the inlays and bolsters to matched celluloid? Or maybe you have a back scale lyin around. Shame, but it will go high!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
