Thanked: 79Hehehe I did EXACTLY the same thing....
I bought ONE of them, a stone and a strop....played with it for awhile....then promptly ordered several more of them. IMHO one of the best deals available in a decent straight, bar none. The hones aren't that bad, either; the strop is decent, but nothing luxurious...
Next I think I'm going to order one or two of the ones that AREN'T surgical razors...

Heh, get them quick before the "Wonderedge" syndrome kicks in.
I had my second shave with it this morning and it was just as good as yesterdays, these are really amazing value for money as far as I'm concerned. I didn't realise they were surgical razors but I guess that figures being all steel construction - easy to autoclave.
My buddy wants to buy my second one, I wish I hadn't told him how cheap they were now.

I don't think that will happen with these puppies...
1) The person who started the Duck craze was Lynn. Now had Randy said "I got 5 of these puppies and they all honed up to shave like dreams," then Wojtek would have had to brace for impact. If you or I said it, someone MIGHT HAVE marked it for future reference and most likely forgotten about it.
2) For now this is the only example of one that is a superb shaver. Numbers-wise, I'm sure there are more people who own a DOVO that turned out just right and we don't have a DOVO buying craze going.
However you did get me curious and I'll take mine to the hones very soon just to test your claim.
