I just ordered 2 of these beauties based on this thread. I hope they are half as nice as everyone makes them out to be!

I ordered three of these last week, I have plans to convert my neighbor, as well as my dad to straight razor shavers. That leaves one Wap for me!

My "reinforcements" arrived--I now own three of these razors. They are all fantastic shavers and are currently my favorite razors.

Thanked: 0Got mine a couple of days ago...
Haven't put them on the hone, but tonight is the night! I like the oblique point too, pretty cool.
Now, these things have absolutely no markings on them of any kind, right? My came in wax paper (no blemishes on any of them, too!) but they are not identified in any way...Just wondering. Except of course the package from Warsaw!
My mailbox lady thinks I am a bit odd; I have received four packages in as many weeks - England, Canada, Japan and Poland. She is going to call big brother on me soon!

Mine arrived in today's mail. Going to start exploring some new scales for these. Will definitely keep one of the three stock.

Thanked: 346The arkansas stone is definitely a translucent arkansas, and a pretty good one at that. I'll stick with my pink translucent for razor duties, but the Polish one is an awfully good bargain - translucents are nearly mined out and the prices for top-quality ones are going up fast. Get one and use it for your pocketknifes if nothing else.

I had one of my Wapienicas honed by Lynn and it's an amazing shaver. My other razors seemed to get duller all of a sudden...

Thanked: 0Top Service
Although there have been some problems over postage, Wojtek has been top-class in resolving the difficulties.
Looking forward to receiving my Arkansas stone shortly.
